The bad alcohols:

  • SD alcohol

These alcohols give products a quick-drying finish, immediately degreases the skin, and allows the product to feel weightless. These effects are especially attractive for those with oily skin.

These alcohols gives the skin short term benefits with long term consequences. It strips away the skin's natural oils and the skin barrier, making it dry and weak. It is best to avoid these 3 bad alcohols!

Also known as fatty alcohols, they are non-irritating and are beneficial for the skin! Fatty alcohols are used as emollients and thickeners in skincare products and can be beneficial for dry skin, don't be afraid of them!
