What exactly are antioxidants?
To understand more about antioxidants, we must first be familiar with the term ‘free radicals’, as they both go hand in hand. In a nutshell, free radicals are unstable molecules that can wreak havoc on our skin, such as causing dark spots and fine lines.

Now that you understand what free radicals are, what role do antioxidants play?
Antioxidants help neutralise and balance out free radicals when levels get too high. As we are exposed to free radicals in our daily lives, it can be difficult to avoid them completely.
