What your pimples are trying to tell you.

What your pimples are trying to tell you.

We can all agree that pimples are the absolute worst!

They always show up when you least expect them, such as before a job interview, an occasion, or a date.

But thanks to a technique called face mapping, you'll be able to better understand the root cause of your breakouts.

Pimples on your Forehead

The forehead is linked to the digestive system and stress-inducing factors such as poor diet, stress, and lack of sleep.

What you can do:

  • Drink more water
  • Regulating your diet
  • Have a consistent sleep schedule

Pimples on your Nose

The nose relates to heart health. Hence, heart blockages, blood pressure, or cholesterol issues will show up as blackheads and pimples.

What you can do:

  • Cut down on unhealthy food to regulate your blood pressure
  • Up your consumption of healthy essential fatty acids (nuts, salmon, avocado)

Pimples on your Cheeks

The suspect behind the pimples on our cheeks are simply our dirty hands and phones. Whenever we talk on the phone or rest our face on our hands, bacteria and dirt are transferred onto our skin.

What you can do:

  • Clean your phone with anti-bacterial wipes daily
  • Don't touch your face unnecessarily

Pimples on your Chin

The chin is linked to the fluctuations in hormones. Hormones can surge during a menstrual cycle or may be due to a switch or start with birth control medications.

What you can do:

  • Re-evaluate your diet to see if you need to eat less processed foods or dairy.

After breaking down the most common causes for pimples on various locations on your face according to face mapping, you can hopefully figure out how to become break out-free!

Of course, if you can't manage your pimples on your own, always reach out to a dermatologist.
